Goodbye Meal Kits, Hello Hungryroot
I really don’t like cooking. I hate the measuring, I hate going to the market, I hate the precise timing of it all, and I hate the waste of tossing old grocery items. If I could afford takeout every night, believe me, I would do it. Alas, I don’t have in infinite bank account (or the metabolism of a teenager) so cooking seemed like my only, disappointing option. See, I don’t just hate cooking, I’m also not very good at it. I enjoy good food, but have neither the time nor the skill to make it myself.
I thought my solution lay in all those online meal kits. But after trying a bunch, I realized I was doing a ton of work (and spending a lot of time) making a few dinners, and then still had to fend for myself the rest of the week. That’s when I stumbled upon Hungryroot and started reading all the positive online reviews. They offer a discount on your first box, so I decided to try it out. What’s my verdict?
